New organisational structure for the SLB GROUP
On 1 January 2017, the SLB GROUP will introduce its new organisational structure. The three subsidiaries – RVS NON FERRO, RIJKERS and SLB HIGHTECH – will continue as independent business units from that moment on. A shared production unit will handle production, assembly, installation and commissioning during projects. With this new structure, we are one step closer to realising our growth ambitions: doubling our revenue and results by 2020.
The SLB GROUP realises innovative and complex projects, particularly in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries. In order to handle the scope of these projects even more effectively and efficiently, RVS NON FERRO, RIJKERS and SLB HIGHTECH will operate as independent business units from 1 January.
Focus on core competences
Because of this structural change, the focus of our three subsidiaries will be placed even more on their respective core competences. RVS NON FERRO focuses on the development of complete machines, particularly for OEM organisations in the food-processing industry. RIJKERS focuses on the design, development and maintenance of installations for producers in the food, dairy and (light) chemical industries. The third business unit – SLB HIGHTECH – processes high-grade metals into custom products for critical industries. Finally, the shared production unit is responsible for production, assembly, installation and commissioning.
Implementation of a new ERP system
As an important aspect that facilitates optimal coordination between the various business units, we will start using a new ERP system from 1 January. This means another step forward in the digitisation of our organisation, increased efficiency, a reduced chance of disruptions and shorter lead times. Furthermore, our clients can connect to our automated processes more effectively, which results in more insight into the status and progress of their projects. We also strengthen the information chain with a direct link to our suppliers.
What will this mean for you?
As a result of this new organisational structure, some of our clients will formally move from RVS NON FERRO to RIJKERS or vice versa. If that will also happen to your organisation, we will of course contact you personally. With the introduction of the Isah ERP system, our order and purchasing numbers and the layout of e.g. the quotations and invoices we send you will change per 1 January.
